The dark knight

I finally got to watch the dark knight, the second movie from the Batman series. The only reason i watched it was because everyone was talking about it. I even heard some workers saying that it is brilliant. That should have been a hint!

The movie is just horrible. There is so much unnecessary violence that you might think you're watching a Van Damme movie. The story is just horrible and twisted enough that you are not sure what exactly you saw. And the leading actress... Why did she look so old and tired and not cute? I guess they needed somebody to look worse than Bale, and they simply exhausted this lady. The ending and the manipulative music were just the disgusting icing on bloody cake.

To be honest the worse part of this movie experience, beside the price, was the fact that I saw a family with their children. None of the two kids didn't seem to have more than 10, but their parents brought them anyway. The movie was shocking violent for a grown up. Can you imagine what it did to the kids?

Entourage will be back

Entourage will be back on HBO in September. The series should have been back in July, but the writers' strike pushed it towards Autumn. Like it pushed everything else!
But this is still a good news. At least they are coming back!
I can hardly wait to see what they are going to do next, especially since Medellin prove to be a complete failure and the were forced to sell it to Harry for a dollar. Also, I hope the writers will work on making them more mature, because this Never land the characters live in begins to feel like reheated soup. And that's just gross!

I am legend- the sequel

I read that there going to be a sequel for I am legend. This is one of the very few movies I liked lately. I hope they won't f... this for me by doing something crazy artificial that I will have to pretend to buy just for the sake of seeing the sequel. I mean, the leading actor seemed to die at the end. The bunch of "whatever those were" were attacking him and he threw a grenade towards them. How are the writers going to make him survive this?

Hancock

The title helped a lot in my decision to see this film. The suggestion is so obvious so I assume that a lot of people decided to see the movie just because of the title.
Once you pass the shock that none of the two words are combined in an actual scene and that no hand touches the, well you know, then you can stat to enjoy this comedy.
Will Smith plays a rude, drunk super hero that usually screws up any rescue situation he is involved in. This is until he saves a PR specialist, and we all now how those guy work. The PR guy turns him into a superhero the world needs by changing some small things about him. Hancock stars say " Good job to the police officers", spends some time in jail...and that's about it. The public begins to change the way it sees Hancock.
The big twist is the fact that the wife of the PR guy is Hancock wife and a superhero as well. But, them being together makes them human and that is really bad, apparently. The thing is that in their entire life, around 2000 years, people tried to kill them, so this explains why there are apart.
The movie is not amazing, but it is not a waste of time either.

I am legend

"Bad boy " Will Smith plays a good part in I am legend. I is hard to believe that the goofy actor from the simply horrible Wild Wild West can pick himself up a do a good job.

The movie is good except on thing. I like the idea of post-apocalyptic future, I loved the isolated man, I hated the monsters, or human, or virus carriers, or whatever. I seemed to me that they could try a bit harder to make them, well, not believable, but not so fake, either. I think I saw some of them in Buffy at some point. And the sound they were making! Really, if i have it on my computer, then the technicians need to work harder to invent something new.

I did like the movie and what really touched me was when the leading actor was talking with the plastic models just because he needed conversation. It is like watching Robinson Crusoe in New York.

What happens in Vegas

Nothing, that what happens!

No, just kidding here. A lot happens actually but none very smart. Before being very critical, I need to remember that this is a romantic comedy and nothing crazy smart ever came out of those.

It goes like this: Cameron Diaz plays a girl:). She brakes up with her boyfriend and goes to Vegas to recover. Asthon is fired and goes to Vegas, well, we can only assume, to waste all his money so unemployment can turn into a surviving experience. They stay at the best apartments of an hotel( sure, let's ignore that Ashton plays a carpenter and yet affords a penthouse suit), they get drunk and get married. Things get really bad when they win 3 million dollars. They want a divorce but a judge forces them to stay together. And they begin doing mean jokes on each other because they want to force the other one to ask for the divorce first. Now comes the shocker: they fell in love. No! Who could have guesses?

Why should anybody watch this movie? You get some laughs and...I got nothing but I will rewrite a part of this post in a different period of the month. Maybe the one the movie has been intended for.

Batman begins

Batman begins pretty well, with him as a child. I found out where the bats obsession comes from. When he was a child he fell in an abandoned wail and was attacked by some bats. From that moment on he has nightmares with bats. His parents are killed on the back alley of the Opera by a burglar. He cannot find his peace as an adult, you know seeing you parents die leaves some marks. He gives everything up and goes to find himself. He does this with the help a stranger that ends up being his mentor and later on his enemy.

Do you feel that this story is long? Hang on, I've only covered a small part of the movie. I like the part with his training, this was definitely new and interesting in Batman's story. The rest of the movie, I found it crazy annoying. To be honest, I skipped a lot of fighting, car chasing, house burning, final battle and some things I will never know. All these scenes I skipped were incredibly long, and some of them really useless, if you ask me. While watching them, besides boredom, I thought about the people that pitched the ideas. They probably opened the TV and saw what has the highest audiences and blended those elements into the movie.

There's hardly anything you can do with a superhero like Batman. So many movies were done before this one that someone like me can get pretty fed up. And what with the leading actor? I could tell that he is acting in most scene. To sum this up, it is unbelievable that a movie with such great actors can be so bad. Morgan Freeman was in it, for God's sake!
